1996 Mark Sweeney, Cardinals, Louisville Slugger model C235 game used bat

Bat shows nice use with ball marks, bat rack marks, remnants of pine tar. 1996 date confirmed with Sweeney via Twitter. Cupped end bat with #23 written in black marker at both ends. Bat appears to be uncracked with some light grain separation from repeated contact with the hitting surface.
 
Sweeney hit .265 in 98 games with the Cardinals that year, as they claimed 1st place in the NL Central Division. Sweeney played 14 seasons in MLB and was well known as an extraordinary pinch hitter. This is a fantastic bat for a Cardinals fan.
